Age 2

This audiogram was obtained at age two years 11 months through numerous test sessions over 6 months and with help in conditioning him via his therapists in Early Intervention. He refused to wear insert earhones.  The results are considered to be reliable.  OAEs are now absent bilaterally.  His speech therapist describes Adam as not overly interesting in sound.

 

Adam is  recieiving speech therapy, a segment of his evaluation at age 32 months is below.

  • Contrast the audiogram with the expected thresholds for a nearly 3 year old.  What would your recommendation be?
