□ This second opinion surgeon works for “the big name” hospital and has a good reputation. The original physician is a general ENT in private practice. If the second opinion surgeon feels he is particularly skilled at middle ear surgery, is he free to suggest to the patient that he have the surgery at the “big name hospital” (with the second opinion surgeon doing the surgery, of course)?
