Audiometry & Immittance

S.T. WRS % @ HL
Right 10 dB HL 100 50
Left 65 dB HL 44 85 (m-50)

(m-50 means contralateral masking = 50 dB EM)

The tympanograms are type A bilaterally.  There was no note on whether acoustic reflex testing was conducted.

□   What do you think about the choice of 85 dB HL for word recognition testing?  Is the score disproportionately low given the severity of the loss?

□   Obviously, reflex data would be helpful. Beyond that, although it’s not a major error, there is an error in the testing conducted. Can you find this problem?
