ENoG

Because of the report of facial tingling, electroneuronography (ENoG) was ordered.  The results are shown below.

□   What nerve is being measured?

□   Where is the stimulus applied, where are the electrodes that record the response?

□   Why might an auditory neuroma cause an abnormal ENoG?

□   What calculation is made of the results?

□   Are these results normal or abnormal and what does that signify?

□   Is ENoG within an audiologist’s scope of practice?
