Case 11

26 year old female.

This patient had complained of frontal lobe headache, and an MRI was ordered.  It did not reveal frontal lobe abnormality, but did find an acoustic neuroma, 1.1 cm, on the VIIth and VIIIth right cranial nerves.  She had hearing testing (not available for review) that the ENT characterized as showing right ear, mid frequency loss.  She reports some dizziness, and some ringing in her right ear over the last few months.

She had leukemia at age 2 and received chemotherapy and radiation treatment.  Her medical history is otherwise unremarkable.

Otoscopy is normal. Tympanograms are normal. Reflex testing results are not available for review.
