The 4th evaluation is now 3 years since the original diagnosis.
MRI of the IAC W/ and W/O Contrast/ MRI of the Brain W/ and W/O Contrast: “Accounting for the differences in technique, there has been no change in the size of the right VS.”
At 5 years post initial diagnosis, the 5th occurs and the evaluation results are below.
MRI of the IACs W/ and W/O Contrast/ MRI of the Brain W/ and W/O Contrast: “Stable findings compared to (evaluation #4). Stable enhancing mass in the right IAC measuring 12 mm in transverse dimension x 7mm in anterior to posterior dimension x 5mm in height. This minimally extends to the right porus acusticus. The left IAC remains normal. The CPAs are normal. The brainstem is normal.”
The images are shown below. The nasal bone is at the top of the trace in the axial scans. The green arrow points out the tumor location.

MRI Scan Axial T2
T1 and T2 are different types of MRI. The colors of fat and fluid change. Look at the spinal cord, for example. A general rule is that white matter will be light gray in a T1 and Dark gray in T2.
Below is the coronal scan – you can see the spinal column in the center, bottom, and the pinnas on each side.

Note that the estimated size is now 12 mm, up from 8 mm. 8 mm is .31 inches; 12 mm is .47 inches.
