These waves show the “slow component” of the ABR – rather than seeing I, III, V occurring sequentially, just the broad trough following V is evident.  It occurs over many milliseconds, which is why it’s called the “slow component”.  If you had set the ABR filters to 100-3000 Hz rather than 30 to 3000, you would reduce or eliminate the slow component and you may not see the evoked response at all.
