Age: 14 months

E.S. failed neonatal screening in his right ear, and has repeatedly been found to have absent OAEs in his right ear subsequently.

• Here are today’s findings.  What do they indicate?

Tympanograms are normal. Ipsilateral acoustic reflexes are present in the left  ear and absent in the right ear.
