The patient was diagnosed with a motor tick, neurological, 3-4 months ago. He has TMJ problems, and is seen by a specialist. He has noise exposure – he is a music composer. He also scuba dives. He believes he has a problem with his right eustachian tube. He has migraines, about 1 per month. He denies pain, dizziness, or use of ototoxic medications. He says he has had normal hearing test results in the past. He had a cold on the day of the audio evaluation reported here.
□ When you read “denies” in a case report, does that mean that the audiologist is suspicious, or is that just standard term for “negative report”?
