The patient is a male, age 63, and a veteran seeking hearing aids.   He does not report otalgia, dizziness nor aural fullness.  He has bilateral tinnitus but is not bothered by it.

Otoscopy was largely unremarkable.  The tympanic membranes were somewhat opaque.
