NU-6 word lists
- The split ear audiogram notes FA as an abbreviation for Fletcher Average. What is the FA and when should it be used? Should it have been used in this case?
- The unmasked bone conduction test results were retained. Some clinics put a dot on the unmasked threshold but do not keep those thresholds. Some computer-based audiometers delete the unmasked when the masked threshold is found. Here, there is no reason to keep the unmasked thresholds. Would there ever be a reason one would want to see the unmasked thresholds?
