Management:
The patient was sent to ENT, but since it has been two months since loss onset, the prognosis for medication-assisted (i.e.. steroid tx) recovery is low. If the loss is permanent, the patient may be a candidate for a bone-anchored hearing aid (Baha) to pick up the signal from the left side of the head and send it via bone conduction to the right cochlea.
