It was noted that the SAT (speech awareness thresholds) were 100 dB HL in the right ear, and 95 dB HL in the left ear.
There appear to be air-bone gaps, but the bone conduction scores are all “no response”. (The audiologist may have marked the bone as no response if the patient indicated a vibrotactile response, but the original case makes no mention of “vt” – it is just noted as no response.)
- Can you say one way or the other – is there, or is there not, a conductive part of the loss? Could his stapedectomy surgery come “undone” and could that account for part of his problems – or do these results rule out a mixed loss?
