Tonal loudness discomfort levels were obtained. The LDL was 100 dB HL at 500 Hz and 110 dB HL at 2000 Hz for the left ear. The right ear LDLs were 100 and 105 dB HL.

- Calculate the two and three frequency pure tone averages (PTAs). When is a 2 / 3 frequency average typically used? Are the spondee thresholds in agreement with the PTAs?
