The patient was seen at 7 months.  She had received PE tubes in the intervening time, and was wearing power BTEs.  Her hearing aid earmolds were attached to the insert earphones.  A response was obtained for the right ear at 95 dB HL, 500 Hz.  The left ear had no response at 105 dB HL. No response was see with stimulation of either ear at 2k at 110 dB HL.

Hearing hearing aids were adjusted to increase power; the earmolds required remaking.

The patient was referred to a cochlear implantation team and Medicaid processing to approve implantation was started.
