Medical Evaluation Notes

The diagnosis was of “fungus amongus”; the debris was suctioned from the ear and treatment prescribed.

Post-suctioning, the left ear hearing improved, closing the air-bone gaps at 500 Hz through 2000 Hz.  The 250 Hz threshold was unchanged.

The hearing aid was cleaned.  The patient was asked to try the hearing aids again, and return in a few weeks for a hearing aid evaluation if the feedback problems persisted.
