This is a Native American patient, living on a pueblo in New Mexico.  Recurrent and chronic ear infections are common among Native Americans, and this gentleman had his share.   At the time of the evaluation, he reported that he feels his hearing has been relatively stable, but that he has sufficient problems that he is interested in pursuing amplification.  Prior audiograms indicated a bilateral hearing loss above 1000 Hz, which was moderately severe.
