The most recent testing is also accompanied by the current case history.

For the past three weeks, the patient feels her left ear hearing is again down.  She has moderately severe tinnitus in the left ear.  Dizziness persists, the case file doesn’t indicate current symptom duration / severity.

CT testing last year indicated normal findings, other than showing the post-surgical changes.

In August, she receives another Decadron injection; in September she takes it orally.

Hearing is similar each of these months, her September audiogram is shown.

  • Evidently the medical treatments have not controlled her dizziness, and her hearing is now poor.  Are there other treatment regiments available to her?  How might they affect her hearing / tinnitus?
  • Would you recommend amplification for the left ear, or any form of tinnitus treatment?
