On the day of testing, hearing was re-screened as the patient reported her hearing was better.  Here is the left ear audiogram.  This is four days after the one shown on the page above. The audiogram obtained on follow up a month later is shown at the bottom of this page.

• Please critique the testing and  interpret the ABR and ECoG findings.  They were obtained with ear canal electrodes.

The patient is diagnosed as having Meniere’s disease and placed on conservative treatment – salt restriction, avoidance of caffeine, alcohol and tobacco.
